Initial House Painting Part II

I don't like having a long to-do list, and this house has kept my list incredibly long since day one! Someone did tell me that if you suffered from boredom, buy a house, and I couldn't agree more. I already painted two walls in the house, but decided this weekend to tackle another two. Here is a before of my bedroom with the grey walls.

For the bedroom I chose a color called Kiwi Splash to match my bedding. I wanted something bright that would offset all my dark furniture.

Here is the after of that wall. It is a lot of fun sleeping under the kiwi.

I also settled on a color in my living room. Here is a before of the room while I was moving into the space.

And here is the room after I finished painting it. The living room took a lot of time to decide on since it impacted my roommates. But they were kind enough to lend me their opinions before going through with the painting process.

I am so happy I finished these two rooms. I leave for vacation at the end of the week and knowing that all my interior painting is done is a huge weight off my shoulders. Now, I just need to power wash the deck, weather proof it, paint the shed, plant grass and EVERYTHING ELSE IN THE WORLD.

But for now, I am happy with my kiwi splash bedroom & beach blanket living room colors being complete.
