Letterpress: Legos

One of my old letterpress students has fallen in love with the craft as much as I have and begun teaching at the art center where she first learned. Her class is called experimental letterpress where she is testing different methods and being totally creative.

To help her out with some class samples she asked me to make something out of legos. Being inspired by the Lego Batman movie, I made the batman signal. You can clearly see all the pieces I used above and what it looks like all inked up below.

This was a super fun project and now I am determined to print using an actual lego letterpress.
